RGB / CMY Kinetic’ by ART+COM
During this edition, Fundació Sorigué and Sónar launch a worldwide premiere at Sónar Barcelona, a monumental audiovisual installation: RGB / CMY Kinetic, by the renowned Berlin studio, a pioneer in the application of technology in the art world.
The kinetic light installation, a colossally-sized piece, occupies a 500m2 x 12m high area. The sculpture encompass a choreography of primary colour lights, driven by five reflective discs suspended in the air, activated by powerful machinery and industrial precision.
This art piece reflects nature through the use of engineering, offering a multi-sensory and spatial experience in which technology will be hidden. The piece is inspired by the PLANTA Project.
