The “Double Bind” installation at PLANTA, by Juan Muñoz, has received 2,500 visitors since its opening

The “Double Bind” installation by the artist Juan Muñoz (1953-2001), which marked the opening of the PLANTA project to the public on 19th October of last year, has since received around 2,500 visitors.

Of the total visits to this monumental sculpture installation, over 300 were from schools and universities, in line with PLANTA’s desire to become an outreach tool for art and knowledge, through educational programmes for different audiences.

The PLANTA project, driven by Sorigué and the Sorigué Foundation, is a place where contemporary artistic creation and business innovation meet and interact, offering art and architecture not found anywhere else in the world.

“Double Bind”, considered to be Juan Muñoz’ most important work and created in 2001 for the London Tate Gallery’s Turbine Hall, is exhibited for the first time in Spain in PLANTA’s unique setting: a former industrial warehouse covering more than 2,000 square metres and transformed especially to hold this work.

Advance booking is essential to visit PLANTA.
