Talking Architecture are encounters and debates organised by PLANTA among architects, landscapers, artists and intellectuals from different disciplines to think about the current and future challenges of architecture, addressing them from specific perspectives in each edition, with the common denominator of developing the PLANTA project.
The first edition was held in November 2013 at PLANTA and a few months later, in February 2014, it was presented publicly during the Closing Ceremony of the Bi-City Biennial of Urbanism/Architecture (UABB) in Shenzhen (China). In June 2014, accompanying the PLANTA presentation event, as a collateral event at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale, the second edition of Talking Architecture was held at the “Benedetto Marcello” Music Conservatory in Venice.
Talking Architecture is available to the public on the PLANTA website. After the fourth edition of Talking Architecture, this project was continued in the form of new encounters that began in 2018 entitled “Sustainable Cities”. The first edition, “From Smart City to Sensitive City”, took place in Madrid.
